- to keep the observance of laws under strict control.
- to punish the infrigers of law.
- to educate people about the dangers of second-hand smoke.
- to declare the right of non-smokers to a smoke-free environment.
- to protect non-smokers against the danger and disconfort of passive smoking
- to inform - with due emphasis - the pregnant women about the health risks of smoking.
- to contribute to the development of a non-smokig environment.
- to provide support to smokers who want to quit smoking.
