MOTTO: By the early 2000s, we should achive:
that 80 percent of the population should be free of smoking.
---The challenge is great, but the stakes are greater.
Basic aims:
- --to stop the smoking epidemic.
- --to increase the severity of the existing laws
- --to keep the observance of laws under strict control.
- --to emphasize taxation/price policy for tobacco products.
- --to decide :exactly: on the proper use of the revenue tax.
- --to eliminate all impersonal modes of sale of tobacco products
- --to combat the smuggling of tobacco products.
- --to enforce the prohibitive law of tobacco advertising
- --to control the realisations of prohibition and restriction of smoking in public health istitutions and educational establishments as well as at workplaces, industries, public places, offices, vehicles, communication facilities, public transport, sport and cultural events, in restaurants, eating- houses, confectioneries, coffee-shops, cafeterias, food-stronge places, canteens, at meetings, conferences, other places frequented by many people , etc.
N.B.: Smoking be allowed only in designated separate room/s/!
- --to indicate designated separate room/s/ for smokers in theatres, cinemas, cultural centres, houses of culture, concert halls, etc.
- --to enact antismoking education in schools -- to save our young people from smoking.
- --to inform every citizen :continuously: about the harmfulness, the dangers and economic costs of smoking.
- --to help actual smokers by organising new consultants and special weaning courses, with the application of adequate medicaments put the widening of their choice to make the smokers to abandon their harmful addiction.
In addition:
- Let the leaders set a good example /i.e.: doctors, teachers, educators, professors, scientists, parliamentarians, ministers, politicians, officials of parties and trade unions, leaders of churches, police and military forces, sport-, cultural life, etc.
- Help the media antismoking actions and programmes. It is necessary, idispensable! /Persons, participants and collaborators of television programmes should not smoke!/
